Paul Clancy Musical Director - DSMT & Back to BackPaul Clancy is a well known musician throughout the country. As well as beingmusical director of several groups and societies in the Dundee area, Paul is inregular demand as a freelance session musician and arranger. With DundeeSchools Music Theatre, Paul has toured Europe and the USA with Side bySide by Sondheim and performed in many of Scotlands top venues and at theEdinburgh Fringe. |

Kenny Christie DirectorKenny Christie started out with Bill Atkinson’s Junior Theatre Club in Brechinat the age of nine taking part in plays and pantomimes. He enjoyed his firstforay into production at the young age of fourteen and continued to foster andearly interest in drama and dance. At seventeen he served an ‘apprenticeship’as an assistant choreographer and has since become one of the busiest andsought after musical theatre choreographers in the country. His numerous credits as director and/or choreographer include Barnum, LesMiserables, Oklahoma!, Me and My Girl, A Chorus Line, Whistle Down TheWind, The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas, Annie, Hot Mikado, Chess,Godspell, Joseph, 42nd Street. In 2003 Kenny directed and choreographed the World’s Fastest TheatricalProduction in a record breaking 23.5 hours from book to stage for ApexProductions and The University of Dundee. Not too long after that he won anational award for best choreography for his work focussing on drug andalcohol abuse. The popularity of his classes in Arbroath and Blairgowriedeveloped into the Showcase the Street project. Kenny has taught danceand taken workshops for Angus College, The Song Shop, StagecoachAberdeen South, Angus Council, Dundee College and Perth Theatre amongstothers. He now works for Dundee City Council Education Department. In 2006 Kenny was appointed the first ever Youth Adviser to Scotland for theNational Operatic and Dramatic Association. |

Richard Waghorn Musical Director - DSMT JuniorsRichard Waghorn is currently studying piano at the Royal Scottish Academyof Music and Drama under world-renowned pianist Fali Pavri. He has beeninvolved with Dundee Schools Music Theatre since its formation, and wasdelighted to become Musical Director of the Junior section in 2006. Richard leads a very busy musical life, working regularly on many showsthroughout Scotland, both professional and amateur. In 2005 he became MusicalDirector of the award-winning RSAMD Pantomime and was thrilled to work on theproduction again in 2006. He enjoys a busy teaching schedule and tutors piano,strings and singing as part of Dundee City Council's Instrumental Tuition Service staff. Richard also spends time touring & recording with the successful celtic-rock band,"Celtic Rouge". |

Alison Strachan Dundee Schools Music Theatre AdministratorAlison Strachan is Dundee Schools Music Theatre's Administrator. Alison has a veryvaried role within the company which ranges from first aid at rehearsals to carrying outthe many administrative duties associated with Dundee Schools Music Theatre. Sheassists the production team in many ways throught the whole production process andis truly a very valuable member of the team. |
